Poll Results: What is your favourite Christmas Movie?

Poll results are in and Christmas Vacation has emerged victorious, in what for a long time was a close race. Honourable mentions were Home Alone and A Christmas Story, who each fought a good fight and kept it close to the end. While to no surprise Scrooged and The Nightmare Before Christmas brought up the rear both coming in with no votes.

Now, before I throw down a clip of one of my favourite scenes from the film, I would like to say a little something about the nature of the beast that is the Christmas film. Usually cheesy, sometimes shitty and usually geared towards children, the Christmas film has become a staple of North American culture. The fact that Christmas Vacation has won here proves that classics can live forever and will stand the test of time when they hit 'home'. And considering the film was released in 1989, it also shows how our childhood film experiences really do snag a spot in our hearts. But, enough cheese, enjoy the clip below...Chevy Chase is so money.
