Non-Berg: Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross

Long before he divorced Kim Basinger or landed the role as Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock, Alec Baldwin turned in a sharp performance in the star-studded 1992 film Glengarry Glen Ross.

He really slides out of nowhere and steals this scene, as he plays a fellow real estate agent who has been asked to 'motivate' the other agents who are not selling.

Considering how boring a movie about real estate agents sounds, this scene is a perfect clip for showing that this film is actually pretty interesting and definitely worth a watch. I’d throw down a highlight, but the truth is that whole scene has Baldwin spittin’ flames. Ed Harris is his usual moody, prick self, Jack Lemmon plays the washed-up old man to perfection and Alan Arkin (the guy who sits in total-berg silence) plays uselessness to a ‘T’. Pacino who is not featured in this scene also has his fair share of moneyness throughout the film, but that is another story altogether.
