Glenn Beck's take on things

Fox News host Glenn Beck has really stepped his crazy game up. I mean seriously, Glenn has been spouting out more right-wing fringe nonsense than Ann Coulter at a book signing. Beck is quickly becoming the voice for the underrepresented in the U.S.: the AR-15 toting, 2nd Amendment chanting, psycho class. Maybe it's because his new set design and his cool new logo have gone to his head or maybe it's because he actually is that crazy. Beck has been relentlessly attacking the President as of late calling him a radical and a communist. Beck has certainly stirred up a media shit storm over his recent comments on Fox and Friends. Beck said he believes Barack Obama is 'a racist' and has 'a deep-seated hatred for White people or white culture.' On his own 'show' Beck ranted, “Barack Obama did not campaign on openly changing the whole system… Based on the fact that (Obama) will not reject this man and others like him in this administration, I’m beginning to wonder. Didn’t Venezuela, didn’t Chavez… wasn’t he ‘democratically’ elected? I don’t believe he campaigned as a communist. But boy, things sure changed once he got into office. President Obama did leave telltale signs."

Here's some of his crazy in full effect.

Beck's antics have not gone unnoticed as the the folks over at colorofhange.org have lobbied advertisers to withdraw their ads from Beck's show. I'm not sure of how much lobbying had to be done as it seems Glenny boy doesn't need anyones help.

Here is a list of 57 companies that have withdrawn their advertisements from Beck's show.

Yo Teach!

"If you look a little more closely here you'll see is that the English language is actually Bo's greatest rival." I just wish Yo Teach! was actually going to be made into a series. Apparently this is just a clever marketing campaign for Judd Apatow's upcoming film Funny People. Hopefully the movie is better than the trailer because it looks rather shitty. In other news Jason Schwartzman is money.

Phoenix - Lisztomania (Set to an 80's Mashup)

Here is a fan made video for Phoenix's feel good monster of a hit Lisztomania. The video is a mash up of various 80's flicks and it actually gels together pretty well. Enjoy it and let us know what you think of it with some comments below.

The Barenaked Ladies - Brian Wilson

Before Steven Page was busted for possession of cocaine, he still found the time to rock tunes with The Barenaked Ladies. Whether you are Canadian or not, it's tough to argue that this song does not 'rock the party.' Give me that last verse anytime, anywhere and I'll slap the shit out of my knee, car interior, bar top or whatever else happens to be around at the time. Cast your vote and turn your tunes up.

Jack Johnson - Bubble Toes

"Summertime and the livin's easy." Well, summer is creepin in and it's time to blast the shit out of some tunes. So we are asking you to vote on what your favourite tune is out of the list we've provided. Now, we could have listed a lot more, but we think there is at least one tune up there that should tickle yourself pink. I predict at least one vote for LFO and that Animal Collective will not win. Make some comments below if you care to do so.

Happy Mother's Day: Tupac - Dear Mama

Happy Mother's Day to all those celebrating. Most of us can say that we wouldn't be the person we are today without our mother, so raise your glass to mothers around the world because they deserve it. I've thrown down the best ode to a mother I can think of, that being Tupac's Dear Mama, so enjoy the shit out of it.

Family Guy: Three Kings Trilogy

This Sunday, on Mother's Day, Family Guy will parody three classic Stephen King tales during their episode. The episode will be divided into segments of Stand By Me, Misery and The Shawshank Redemption. I enjoyed all of those films, so I am pretty interested to check out this episode. I've included a few teaser clips, which are pretty damn funny if you know anything about the King stories or the respective films. Thanks to Fark for the info. Enjoy.

Stand By Me:
